Hi everybody
Can anybody help me. I have heard about the activity "Murder in the Library" but not sure about the hows whys and wherefores. How do you set it up, what resources would I need and if anybody has already done it do they fancy 'sharing good practice'???

Thanks

Anita

Hi, Anita! Have done one, then modified it for a class. So have 2 versions of the same thing! Feel free to send me a mem stick or something and I'll bob it in the post!

Set up easy. Sew clothes together, stuff with newspaper and make paper mache head/cover with mask or wig and lie face down! See a friendly policeman for crime scene tape or just order it online from Ebay... and use fake blood on old books so you don't ruin anything. I covered a hand with books, and tucked the other under the body so no-one knew it had no hands! I ran one over a week, getting the kids to illustrate the suspects beforehand, so they all had profiles! Then put the clues up gradually, and have a box for those who solve it! It's less hassle than you realise!
