One step. Just one step is all that it will take. As I stand upon the cliff edge, I wonder if I’m prepared for this. I’ve triple-checked everything. But there is still the chance that something will go terribly wrong. The countdown in my head has begun...3...2...1...

And then it happened. The adrenalin was phenomenal. As I soared elegantly through the sky, like an eagle, the howling wind pounded against my face. All I could see was a blur of motion surrounding me. I had never felt anything like it. I was finally free. Life flourished thoroughly around me and the feel of fresh air made me feel alive. I felt like I could fly. Falling. I was falling and I couldn’t stop myself. The crystal blue sky shrouded the earth. Suddenly, a horrible thought flashed through my mind. My parachute could fail to open. Frantically, I struggled and struggled until I had to stop myself to calm down. “ Breath “ I thought “ Breath.” I tried again but still it didn’t work! Dramatically, I was plummeting towards the ground at a horrifying speed. I had no control over where I was going. Would I ever get my parachute open or would I fall to a gruesome death?

At last I was able to open my parachute! "Thank goodness!" I thought. I gave a huge sigh of relief. Now I really was like an eagle, soaring silently through the sky, although not as fast as a jet! I looked at the beautiful view underneath me - the golden, amber sand, the sapphire blue sea and it felt like I was in paradise. All of a sudden, I froze - I could sense someone - or something - watching me...

What was it? I saw a shadow sneak round the compact corner. I felt my heart pumping. In a flash I sprinted to a dead end. I was trapped! I started to feel dizzy I didn’t remember anything after that. When I opened my eyes the next thing I knew it was daylight.  I caught a glimpse of a blood shot eye peeping through the bushes. Who was it? Mystified, I crept towards this thing that lurked behind the bushes. Sniffling, a slimy creature rose up and screamed, “AAAARRRRRRHHHHHHH”.

This thing violently grabbed me and ran, after a while he stopped. I wandered where we were?...

I opened my eyes and looked around, still in the monster's arms. Around me were hundreds upon hundreds of oak trees draped in snakes, above me storm clouds were brewing and to the left of me there was a break in the trees and a small dark passage leading off into foreverness. Suddenly, the creature darted off into the passage, running at the speed of light. After what seemed like forever, the monster came to a unpleasent stop, I flung out of his brutal grasp and into a thorn bush. The pain was excruciating, thorns were digging into my skin and ripping my flesh open, I started to bleed; the blood was a crimson red color. It poured down my arm and onto the floor, I screamed out with pain and started to flail my arms about in terror, the monster started to approach me and suddenly...
