Home is not a house, it’s not made of bricks.
Home is not a place, you can’t say it’s fixed.
Home is not a person who’s always there,
So where is my home?
Home is a thought you can have when away.
Home is a bird who is seen every day.
Home is a chair, then it’s not, it’s just not –
So what is my home?

Home is a place filled with love.
Home is a place from heaven above.
Home has a welcome mat on the front porch,
So where is my home?
My home is next to annoying neighbours
That asks me dozens of favours
Doing chores at home all day long
Singing my happy song.

Home is somewhere you truly belong,
Home is a place where there is always your song,
Home, when it's broken, it has to be fixed.
So what's in my home?
My home is filled with lots of helpful friends.
It's a place where love never ends.
Home is where I read on my bed,
The laughs from the hallway ring through my head.

Home is somewhere where love comes your way,
Home is where you stay in all day,
Home keeps you warm and lovely and cosy,
Home is where your neighbours are nosy,
Home is fixed with lots of happieness,
So what's in my home?
My home is buried in tresured possions,
Home is somewhere where i don't have lessons,
Home is where i snooze on my bed,
My home is where love pops through my head.

Home is not a house where any one can stay,
Home is different every single day,
Home is a place where I love to be,
I love my home and home loves me.

Home is not a zoo, it is just for me and you
Home is not for frogs,it is for dogs,
Home is not where animals stay it is for us to play,
Home is not for buns, it is just for fun.

Home for me is warm and comfy
Home is for laughter and TV after
Home is like a dove a dove full of love
Home is for cuddles and baths are full bubbles
Home for me has a Nintendo wii
Home is for dancing and spinning and prancing
So what’s in my home?

Home for me has a fair and loving family.
Home has Mum and Dad who cheer me up when I am sad
Home is for light when all is not all is right
Home is for fun and that is my home.

Home is a cloud, cuddly and soft,
Home is proud, hiding its ancient loft,
Home is not weak, it stands strong and tall
Does anyone know my home at all?
Home is always there, waiting for my return
Home DOES care, wise with nothing left to learn
Home is smart, with an important cause,
Enough of mine, what about yours?

Absolutely brilliant! So many fantastic and deeply emotional lines. Incredible. Reading all this fabulous work has made a brilliant end to what had already been a pretty good day! Thanks, everyone.
