He was still a big man. Still a huge man - in every sense.

Even though he was now 78, his 6 foot 3 inch frame demanded attention when he entered any room.

He was one of the country's most celebrated writers, with a reputation that stretched the world. Which was all part of the problem...he knew his powers were on the wane...he knew that this book had to be as good as the rest...no it had to be better than the rest because it might well be his last.

But when he sat down at his desk nothing was coming, nothing was happening.

Blank.

Blank mind. Blank page.

He had to do something. Something to start the process. Something to set his imagination alight. Something different.

Something...drastic

There was a loud growl that interrupted his thoughts. He got up from his desk and he ran outside, he looked round frantically.

He stared at the forest and before he knew it he was running, running into the forest.

He ran into the heart of the forest and into the central clearing. He heard another growl, closer, and then a breath against his neck. He turned round slowly and there was

A colossal jet black rabbit.  It's teeth were a putrid yellow and ended in savage points, and it's eyes glowed green with a radioactive fury.  He stood frozen to the spot and he knew his book would never be finished.  Then from the dark a spear pierced the beasts skull and it fell with an earth shattering thump.  As the light faded from it's eyes, two figures emerged from the trees.

Darkness filled the surroundings as the two figures emerged forward. Fredrick’s heart pounded and a shiver ran down his hunchbacked spine. Scarcely backing away; he didn’t know what to do. A pale complexion painted his face and he started to feel slightly nauseous.  The atmosphere around him suddenly changed…  An ominous bank of dark clouds faded above him. Sinister. The trees waved at him in the eerie silence whilst the cautious elderly man bowed his head under his arms protecting him from the enigmatic shadows.  The figures emerged even closer towards the innocent man. They’re faces were now lit underneath the beam of moonlight and you could notice the piercing glare upon them. Fredrick couldn’t stand the temptation to look up to see the devious eyes looking into his direction. He felt like he was in one of his stories he had written years ago. However the trouble is, he knew the ending…

He was getting chased by zombies. In addition, he ran to his dad’s house, but his dad was a zombie because his brain got eaten by a zombie. Suddenly the silence occurred. The room was filled with darkness and he shouted dad and he popped out and he chased after Fredrick. So Fredrick ran on to the bus. So he could get a way. He heard a big bang…

Suddenly dozens of gruesome purple coloured hands with black cracked nails shot out of the graves around the house , just then he felt a stiff grip on his shoulder and screamed as he felt something crack open into his head , blood flooded down his back ,and was brought down into the earth….

Under the Earth, as the purple hands grabbed him, he tried to crawl his way out.  The hands were too strong.  He finally broke free and ran as fast as he could.  The zombies were catching up though.  They grabbed him and pulled him down.  He was now one of them.  He followed them back to the underworld to begin the next chapter....in zombieland.
