Encouraging links between students and school staff around the globe
Good morning I do hope you are enjoying being back at school this new term (if you are in a school of course). I will be devising the timetable this weekend and it will go live next week so today is absolutely the last day to let me know if you do want a place but haven't managed to sign up yet. It's going to be a very busy event this year, provisionally we have nearly 60 schools taking part but there are a few places left provided you contact me today. I have added a new page to the ning with some app suggestions for creative writing , I do hope you will find it helpful:
I regularly share app and literacy website news etc on my Facebook page, please do hit 'like' on it if you'd enjoy being kept up to date! :
With reference to my previous blog post if you haven't yet downloaded your free copy of the first Hattori Hachi book in ebook form you really are missing out on a great read and as the author Jane Prowse says in her comment after the post , you never know reading the book may well help your students if Jane's story starter comes up on your day! :
I am very happy to say that the wonderful Peters Booksellers http://www.peters-books.co.uk/news-latest.htm are contributing some prizes and sponsorship for Write Path this year along with our regular sponsors, Microlibrarian Systems, Renaissance Learning and Rising Stars. I've already received many signed books from our participating authors for prizes too - it's very exciting opening my post!
Very much looking forward to working with you all and please do remember you have one last chance to sign up today.
