Christ the King finishes writepath for another year!

It was exiting to get our heads around writing again after our school holidays but the students knuckled down and started reading and writing straight away. They were very pleased to be able to contribute to a story that had already traveled around the world and can't wait to see their efforts printed in a 'real' book. Christ the King Completes their Stories

Once again the 12 students from Christ the King had a fantastic time continuing the six stories began by the authors. In pairs they brainstormed what might happen next then began the writing process. As usual there was a mad rush at the end to complete their paragraphs and hopefully they have done a good job. Good luck to the next school and have fun!

A lovely morning in Granville

Well maybe it was unseasonably cold, but the flame of inspiration burned brightly. I'm amazed by the wonderful group of students I have here. Barely 12 years old and they could be writing crime dramas for television! I'll post some reflections from them next week, as they have a major, major presentation to do for the rest of the day (another reason why I am impressed with their whole-hearted participation).
