Well maybe it was unseasonably cold, but the flame of inspiration burned brightly. I'm amazed by the wonderful group of students I have here. Barely 12 years old and they could be writing crime dramas for television! I'll post some reflections from them next week, as they have a major, major presentation to do for the rest of the day (another reason why I am impressed with their whole-hearted participation).
Most of the students are credited as writers in the blog stories, but particular thanks to Gimille, Dennis, Denzel and Jake who freely contributed ideas, advice, took photos and wrote an account for our school newsletter.

Thanks again Bev, for the wonderful Writepath experience; my thanks and admiration go to the authors for their exceptional opening paragraphs.

My greetings to Pendle Vale College and the other teams taking part today. I hope you have as much fun as we did.

Thank you for that lovely greeting Carola. Sorry I didn't manage to get the video up before today but have had technical difficulties!

We are really looking forward to the stories today. wish I could say it was a lovely morning in Nelson but as usual it is raining. I think we could doing with tipping up our island and draining it into the north sea!!!!

Catch you later. :)
