2/9/15 Priory School story 8 Eleanor Updale

I remember that we were laughing.  I know we weren't looking where we were going, but why should we have expected anything to go wrong?  We took that shortcut every day.  We always threw our school bags over the wall and then climbed over after them.  I was already dropping down on the other side when I realised that I’d heard a splash.  Where there used to be solid ground, there was water, and I couldn't stop myself falling in....

As my friend was trying to save me, I pulled her into the sea. An octopus  grabbed her and hit her head on a rock. The water suddenly turns bright red. Her friend Maddie shouts for help but no one was around to help them. Suddenly they see dolphins leaping out of the water saving Maddie. Maddie could hardly breathe.

However Maddie fell backwards into the sea I jump in as the dolphins didn’t notice she was sinking. Luckily at the last second I grabbed her shoes and swam to the top. After I got her over the wall I gave her CPR. She looked at me and said thank you. I walked her home and my mum called the police. The police called me a hero. And also I got a medal of honour from the queen I became famous the next day. They wanted me in films and TV shows. i was living a dream  that people prey for.

After everything that happened to me, Simon Cowell thought I was a hero so he asked me to be a judge on the X Factor. Of course I said yes! It was all over the news – THE NEW X FACTOR JUDGE!! I was so excited. This could change my life FOREVER! People would just stop me in the street and ask for a selfie and an autograph! Maddie got jealous and this caused a problem. She refused to talk to me even though I offered her X Factor final tickets. She rudely rejected them. After this time I realised how spiteful I have been and I gave my place as a judge to her.
