Encouraging links between students and school staff around the globe
A wet day
It’s drizzling.
In the High Street, shoppers glare at the sky,
And turn up their collars.
It’s just a shower.
Umbrellas open like flowers, thirsty for water.
It’s getting heavier.
.
It’s drumming down.
Shoppers in the street shelter in doorways,
Peering up anxiously.
It’s dancing on roofs.
Hats like shields protect against the sharp needles of rain.
It’s getting angrier.
It’s pounding down.
The street empties as some shoppers escape,
Chased by relentless nails.
It shoots like bullets.
Long thick coats repel the lashing rain like two magnets.
It’s getting more vicious.

The roaring rain clears,
The black clouds go away,
The sun glistens behind the cloud,
The shoppers come back in the street.
Second by second.
The puddles shine with the sun.
It's getting joyful
As the colourful rainbow appears,
It's got more colours that paint.
The rainbow was a colourful light in the sky,
The colours are stuck together like magnets,
And the rainbow never ends.

Up In the sky the clouds bloom,
Destruction awaits happiness? ... This isn’t the place.
The world consists of the human race but every day,
There’s a new case, the forecast has a new,
Face. No evidence, no trace
Dirty, dirty waste raindrops to the floor like a fresh race!

Light splashes down in the murky puddles below
Makes me feel refreshed, renewed even so
there are children running and splashing
like fish, flipping, thrashing
around in the light and the shadows they throw
Light splashes down in the murky puddles below
Makes me feel refreshed, renewed even so
there are children running and splashing
like fish, flipping, thrashing
around in the light and the shadows they throw
Not being able to see my reflection in the puddle
My head is in a bit of a muddle
Bubbles are resting on the top
Why do they float to the top?
