Hi everyone the timetable is now finished and up on my page for you to check. I have tried to accommodate all of your requests and so unless the timing is really impossible I won't be able to change the set times. Because of time zone changes we do have a few gaps so if you think any other (British or on GMT) schools would like to take part please do tell them to contact me. If you would to have video contact with other schools please contact the school either side of you on the timetable via the ning to arrange this. There is an updated contacts list on the Contacts tab if you are not sure of the person to contact. If your school has not yet paid the fee please give Finance a little reminder for me ;0) . If possible could you please add a photo to your profile - it can of course be a photo of your school if you'd prefer. Will be in touch again very soon .....not long now!

Great. Think we are nearly all set up for October 11th! Ning now accessible to all students; installed skype on laptop in library - just waiting for web-cam now so hopefully we can video chat with Jayne and/or you; Year 7 class of 24 and teacher all booked in for 10a.m. Anything I can give to teacher to explain a little more what the project is all about?

Excellent looks like you are nearly ready ;0) Have you seen the basic guide on the Forum area? is that the sort of thing you're looking for?

Yes - I have basic guidelines but think it might be useful to have an A4/5 flyer/info sheet on what Write Path is - reasoning behind it, literacy stuff, web address, contact details - I am sure you have it - but something I can email or give to English staff/Head /Literacy co-ordinator etc - just an outline/promotional tool. I can fill in the specifics/detail for our session on 11th

Also - just a point of clarification. Does every pair of students add their paragraph to the ning or do we select the best? Does next school receive 12 different paras then?

How do we know who to contact in the schools so we can videoconference? Last year there was a list of names and email addresses. I am really keen to link up to mine, as we did last year, especially as we have international schools before and after us on Monday, but don't know how to contact them? If you could tell me who to contact for both my days, I would love to get something set up. - Caroline

Hi Caro there is an updated contacts list on the Contacts tab with names and you should be able to contact them via the ning. I will try to add emails but can't promise it until Friday - I am away working in Birmingham at the moment.

Hi Laura the students work in pairs on one story per pair so you will only have 6 stories ;0) will try to check tonight if I have something about WP details ;0)
