It was my third year running Writepath in schools and again. it didn't disappoint!

The library classroom was setup at 7.30am with dictionaries, thesauruses and brand new laptops (I spoil them!). This year I decided to team up Year 8 and Year 9 students. The mix proved fruitful as most students had finished after 45 minutes. I was able to sit back and witness their creativity unleash in body and in mind. We had expressive dances to represent the thunder and impromptu songs.

The hour came and went, students went off a little bit deflated after so much excitement in such a short time, but looking forward to their next session!

Thank you again so much Bev for all the hard work, dedication (I won't mention sweat and tears, not lady like!); it was, as always, a success.

Hi all,

Another great Writepath session - this time limited to 45 minutes due to our timetable and also with our youngest students.  Luckily they have been studying poetry for the last couple of weeks and spent the morning warming up for writing in pairs - an added challenge. They are looking forward to seeing their work in print. Thanks once again Bev - a frenzied time was had by all
